Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all hotel departments, ensuring high standards of service and operational excellence.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee budgeting processes, financial reporting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Manage the night audit process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Monitor hotel occupancy rates and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the hotel’s services and increase visibility.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Food & Beverage experience helpful.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management practices.
- Knowledge of guest services best practices and hotel operations.
- Familiarity with phone systems and other technology used in hotel management.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred but not required.
