Hotel General Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee all aspects of our hotel operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for guest services, and a comprehensive understanding of hotel management. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience while maintaining the hotel's profitability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all hotel departments, ensuring high standards of service and operational excellence.
• Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive work environment.
• Oversee budgeting processes, financial reporting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest relations and satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Manage the night audit process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Handle guest complaints and feedback promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Monitor hotel occupancy rates and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the hotel’s services and increase visibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Food & Beverage experience helpful.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management practices.
• Knowledge of guest services best practices and hotel operations.
• Familiarity with phone systems and other technology used in hotel management.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred but not required.

Pay: $67,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
