Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing to maintain the appearance of floors.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for daily operations.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that all guest or resident requests are met promptly and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Uphold the standards of hospitality by providing excellent service to guests and residents during interactions.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous for understanding guest expectations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
