The Bistro Café by Courtyard Marriott provides refreshing to-go options as well as full sit-down options for breakfast and dinner including food, cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. Our friendly and attentive Weekend Bistro Server/Bartender will help to brighten the day for our hotel guests in this fast-paced Bistro Café environment.
The Bistro Café by Courtyard Marriott provides refreshing to-go options as well as full sit-down options for breakfast and dinner including food, cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. Our friendly and attentive Weekend Bistro Server/Bartender will help to brighten the day for our hotel guests in this fast-paced Bistro Café environment.
- Greet every guest with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude
- Complete opening and closing duties (setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas)
- Take guests’ orders and obtaining payment and providing correct change
- Communicate meal requirements, in regards to allergies, dietary needs, and special requests, to the kitchen
- Prepare and serve beverages (coffee drinks, cocktails, wine, and beer) in addition to serving food to our guests
- Prepare ingredients for cooking and cooking the food according to recipes
- Setting up meeting room for conferences and servicing the meeting room
What does success look like in this role?
- Ability to work during the morning hours of 5:30 am until 12:00 pm and/or 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm on weekends
- Six months of previous restaurant, serving or food handling experience
- Motivated to maintain excellent customer service reputation
- Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Reliability and honesty
- Desire to contribute to a supportive and effective team
