Position Overview: Provides guest service at the front desk while using standards of service. Verify accuracy of guest accounts by balancing departmental income, run computerized update and compile, mathematically verify and record all revenue produced by the hotel’s operation. Bill and collect all revenue owed to the hotel in an accurate, timely manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures
Essential Job Functions:
- Review all Front Desk agents’ work. Audit and reconcile if necessary post any corrections. Separate the work accordingly and balance all work, using computer systems, i.e. Excel
- Verify that all F&B outlets are closed and run an Open Check Report to verify that there are no open checks
- Print necessary reports; Close end of the day on all applicable computer systems
- Reconcile outlet work and separate the checks by type of payment
- Ensure that all rebates are properly logged
- Ensure the house hospitality checks post and correct for balancing purpose but must be separated
- Log house charges and close accounts
- Organize and compile paperwork as needed
- Timely and appropriate communication with management and local authorities during an incident or emergency.
- Represent hotel management during the graveyard hours.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- The employee may be expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description

- Responsible for receiving, processing and investigating complaints made per the existing harassment policy.
Qualifications, Job knowledge, Experience, Skills, Abilities:

- Required 3 years Front Desk
- Four-year degree in hospitality or other business related field
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, effectively with guests and co-workers; respond to guest requests
- Knowledge of foreign languages preferred
- No special licenses or certificates required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to compile facts and figures
- Ability to operate personal computer and calculator
- Telephone etiquette skills needed
- Maintains professionalism at all times, demonstrating courtesy and respect to guests and co-workers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
