Creative Services Specialist
ROLE SUMMARY :
The Creative Services Specialist will use their skills in social media, graphic design, videography and photography to uphold the brand standards and creative identity of Cove Church Ministries and share the message of Jesus Christ.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Social Media
Social media content creation and interaction for Cove Church Ministries accounts
Creatively build followings on various social media outlets including but not limited to, Facebook, and Instagram and YouTube
Track key metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
Provide guidance on trends and future opportunities
Videography & Photography
Shoot, edit and deliver videos and photos for use in various environments
Build and oversee teams for video and photography volunteers
Graphic Design
Create and edit graphics for use in various environments
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS
A heart for the local church, a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion to use creative arts to reach others
Degree in communications, media, or related field, or at least 2-4 years experience in communications
Basic skills in creating and editing graphics, video and photos, and the willingness to continue developing new skills in these areas.
Familiarity with Creative Suite programs, such as Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator, is preferred
Ability to work well with volunteer teams
Creative thinking
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to take projects from beginning to end
Organization and ability to manage multiple projects
Bias for action, focus, passion and initiative. Takes appropriate action when something needs to be done
Relational strength with all kinds of people, builds effective relationships, communicates effectively both interpersonally and corporately
