What are the responsibilities and job description for the DISHWASHER position at Cove Property Management, LP?
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- To be an Ambassador for Cove Communities and Point Sebago at all times by choosing your attitude each day and committing to a culture of service, hospitality and accountability.
- To treat all internal and external customers with respect, embrace your role as a problem solver who is committed to continual improvement, and exceed guest expectations by living Cove’s Core Values.
- Wash dishes, silverware, pots & pans in accordance with established procedure. Once the equipment is clean and sanitized, return all items neatly in the proper location.
- Keep entire dish area clean- shelves floors, tables, and dish machine.
- Keep grates to dishwasher clean.
- Take out garbage from dish room and server-side.
- Clean mats nightly.
- Know the correct procedure for handwashing (in case the washing machine goes down).
- Mop and scrub floors nightly.
- Test dishwasher every day with sanitation strips and do a 5 point test at least once a week.
- Assist back of house or front of the house when needed.
- Support and follow Cove Communities and Point Sebago policy at all times.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain prior to working.
- Ability to function well in a high pace, sometimes high-stress environment.
- Comfortable effectively communicating with all levels of guests and staff.
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with frequency.
- Requires bending or crouching.
- May require night and weekend work.
