Job Summary:
Coveleigh Club is seeking an energetic and personable Tiki Bar Bartender to provide exceptional service to members and guests at our outdoor bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, along with a flair for crafting tropical and classic drinks in a fun and fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and attention to detail are essential.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately.
• Craft signature tropical cocktails, including frozen drinks and club favorites.
• Provide friendly and engaging service while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations and club policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including restocking and inventory management.
• Process transactions accurately using the club’s POS system.
• Monitor guest consumption and respond appropriately to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the tiki bar area for events and daily operations.
• Suggest drink pairings and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications:
• 1 year of bartending experience, preferably in a country club, resort, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and drink preparation techniques.
• TIPS or equivalent alcohol service certification preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
