What You'll Do:
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for the effective implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate closely with students, employing both direct and indirect methods to foster progress and development.
- Demonstrate skills and provide instruction through impactful modeling and teaching techniques.
- Coordinate with teachers, SAI educators, and school POCs to streamline behavioral support strategies.
- Manage and organize Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and 504 plans.
- Attend IEP meetings to contribute insights and recommendations.
- Design and implement programs aligned with IEP goals to maximize student success.
- Maintain accurate session notes and submit them through designated portals for documentation.
- Prepare comprehensive quarterly progress reports to track and communicate student advancements effectively.
- Organize, coordinate, and monitor RBT hours in accordance with BACB guidelines in collaboration with POC at the school district.
- Conduct RBT competency assessments.
- Other job duties as assigned by the Director of Behavioral Services
Qualifications We're Looking For:
- Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- School-based experience is a plus but not mandatory—entry-level BCBAs are encouraged to apply!
- Prior experience in special education is preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to travel within the East Bay as needed is a must.
