Temporary Part-Time Direct Support Professional

About the Role:Covenant Case Management Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Support Professionals to provide community networking services for an individual with intellectual disabilities.You will play a crucial role in ensuring the individual's needs are met and providing a safe and supportive environment both in the home and the community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support with daily living activities
• Assist clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals
• Facilitate community engagement and social interactions
• Ensure a safe and supportive home environment
• Collaborate with families and professionals to coordinate care
• Document client progress and report incidents as needed
• Advocate for client needs and maintain a respectful atmosphere
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
