THIS POSITION IS FOR UPPERCLASSMEN ONLY. FRESHMEN ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR DEPARTMENT POSITIONS.
Expected hours of work per week : 5-10
Work Location & Hours : Sanderson 208 and 215
Qualifications for Position :
Office skills such as Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc. and / or their Word, Excel, and Publisher counterparts
Must collaborate well with others
Positive attitude and flexibility in the workplace
Creative problem-solving, sometimes in time-pressure situations
Previous theatre experience is a plus
Expected Duties and Responsibilities :
Supporting visually impaired individuals by ensuring accessibility to information during the production process
Digitizing physical documentation such as script, music, and notes
Creating tangible forms of images such as the stage design and blocking instructions
Communicating needs and progress with the technical director
Resume skills development (NACE Competencies required by employers) to be developed
Career & Self-Development including identifying areas for continual growth
Communication in the form of clearly and effectively exchanging information
Critical Thinking in the form of making decisions and problem-solving
Global Literacy displayed by a desire and ability to foster an environment where all can thrive
Leadership through planning, initiating, completing, and evaluating projects
Professionalism by demonstrating dependability and dedication
Teamwork including collaborating with others to achieve a common goal
