What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Orientation Dorm Coordinator position at Covenant Logistics?
The Orientation Dorm Coordinator(s) aides in the facilitation of the overall dorm experience, ensuring a positive first experience for our professional drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure our Future Professional Drivers are treated with a respectful. friendly and welcoming experience.
- All administrative tasks related to the professional drivers’ accommodations.
- Check drivers in for orientation ensuring all data is entered accurately and timely and drivers receive all required materials.
- Manage Meal Voucher tracking sheet
- Manage the rental car return process
- Collaborate with contractors to provide adequate accommodations for drivers attending orienation
- Independently manage time and resources to meet specified performance standards.
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly reports as required.
- Put together check-in welcome packets; Orientation folders; and other material as needed
- Keep front desk & breakroom areas cleaned and in a presentable manner
- Escalate any issues in timely manner
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as other web-based applications
- Excellent communication skills, writing, verbally, and electronically.
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Must be a team player and a “people person” who can remain calm and optimistic in a high-volume, pressured environment.
- Must have excellent customer service experience
- Must be highly organized with paperwork and data and be accountable for results.
- Must have an excellent attendance record that can be verified at prior jobs
- 2 Years Customer Service Experience-Dorm/Hotel or other customer facing role preferred
- High school diploma

Covenant’s compensation philosophy’s intent is to use a competitive total compensation strategy to determine the current market value of a position while also considering individual factors such as performance in current position, time in seat of current position, experience, level of responsibility/accountability, and longevity with the company. The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.
Pay Range: $17.00-$26.67/Hourly
Pay Grade: 5
