Role Type  - Direct hire

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong knowledge of AV technology
  • 2-3 years of estimator experience in the AV space. Prior experience reviewing RFPs and developing bids.
  • Skilled in negotiations. Prior experience working with manufacturers and vendors to negotiate prices.
  • Industry experience in the corporate conference room space. Prior focus on areas like conference rooms, team meeting rooms, TV installations, control panels, and digital signage.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with distributors and manufacturers to negotiate competitive pricing and strategic advantages with our supply chain.
  • Develop Labor & Material estimates (BOL / BOM) for each opportunity.
  • Attend site visits to gather important information relating to an opportunity.
  • Participate with management and sales team to develop a winning strategy on proposals and quotations.
  • Accurately generate take-offs and spreadsheets for estimates
  • Design and estimate small, medium, and large size installations.
  • Develop well-structured and descriptive scopes of work that best explains how the design completely fulfills the customer’s needs.
  • Plan and manage time and schedule effectively.
  • Attend Game Plan / Strategy Meeting for the assigned projects.
  • Provide Value Engineering options for every estimate.
  • Generate a price comparison spreadsheet and populate the estimates with the best price.
  • Set up and run peer checks, P&L reviews, and support capture meetings.
  • Conduct Labor & Material Estimate (BOL / BOM) Reviews with Business Unit Manager
  • Participate in post-award handoff meetings, coordinating with Sales, PMO, Procurement, Partners, and any other necessary resources.
  • Job Details

  • This is a hybrid in-the-field position. There will be travel to different customer sites and some in-office days.
  • 300 per month vehicle allowance
  • 30 per month cell phone allowance
  • Compensation

    Base Salary -  $100,000-$115,000
