New restaurant in Downtown Stuart, Florida opening in the next 2 weeks! Coventry Cafe will serve farm to table American faire. Grand opening will feature dinner service, and eventually progress into an all day brunch/lunch menu.
Job Overview
We are seeking a to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Assist with food handling as needed, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for catering events and banquet services when required.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Uphold fine dining standards while providing attentive service during busy periods.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- or related fields such as catering or fine dining is preferred.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage pairings is a plus.
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment handling.
