Role Description
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead new client acquisition through content marketing, social media engagement, and targeting prospecting. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Generation and Prospecting
o Identify, research, and engage new manufacturing industry leads.
o Develop multi-channel outreach strategies (cold calling, LinkedIn, email, and industry events).
o Qualify leads and schedule discovery calls for the sales team.
• Content Marketing and Social Media
o Create and distribute high-impact content (case studies, blog posts, LinkedIn posts, etc.).
o Manage social media presence, optimizing engagement with potential customers.
o Work to refine SEO, email campaigns, and lead-nurturing efforts.
o Be creative and have fun learning and executing.
• Sales and Business Development
o Collaborate with sales leadership to develop account-based strategies.
o Build relationships with key leverage connections in manufacturing.
o Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors to refine messaging.
• Pipeline and Metrics
o Track sales performance and lead conversion rates using CRM tools.
o Provide regular updates on pipeline progress and market insights.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in Business Development and Manufacturing
o 3 years in B2B sales, business development, or marketing. Someone who is looking to build from ground up...you can earn the right to lead!
o Background in manufacturing technology, MES, PLM, or AI-based solutions is a plus.
• Proven Content and Social Media Expertise
o Strong skills in LinkedIn engagement, thought leadership, and content marketing.
o Ability to create compelling industry-focused content that attracts leads.
• Hunter Mentality and Prospecting Skills
o Hands-on experience in cold outreach, networking, and lead-nurturing.
o Experience using CRM tools like HubSpot or similar.
• Self-Starter and Results-Driven
