Job Title: HR/Recruiting Intern

STATUS: Non-exempt $20 per hour
Reports to: HR Director
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR/Recruiting Intern to join our dynamic HR team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in human resources and recruitment processes. The HR/Recruiting Intern will assist with a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and maintaining HR records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and networking.
- Help review resumes and job applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain and update candidate databases and HR systems.
- Conduct reference checks and assist with pre-employment paperwork.
- Assist in onboarding processes for new hires, including preparing materials and conducting orientation sessions.
- Support HR team with administrative tasks and documentation.
- Help with employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Participate in HR-related projects and provide recommendations for process improvements
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in HR and talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous HR or recruitment experience is a plus but not required.
