Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients seeking information about health coverage options.
• Analyze patient data to determine eligibility for various health plans and programs.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain coverage details, benefits, and enrollment processes.
• Maintain accurate records through data entry and computerized systems.
• Utilize medical terminology to assist patients in understanding their coverage options.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication regarding patient coverage.
• Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare environment is preferred.
• Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients.
• Ability to analyze information and provide clear explanations of complex concepts.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual candidates are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for this role.
• Experience with data entry and computerized recordkeeping systems.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $128,000.00 per year
