In this role you will be responsible for performing complex analyses supporting the objectives and goals within the Plan Management Division. You will serve as a highly skilled practitioner, prime resource person and innovative subject matter expert and support the objectives and goal within the division. As a Research Data Specialist II, you will:
- Design, and direct complex research projects.
- Collaborate on the interpretation and analysis of monthly provider network submissions.
- Conduct research and produce reports.
- Organizes, validates, and completes analysis.

Working Conditions
This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Covered California’s current telework policy. While Covered California supports telework, in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksite with minimal notification if an urgent need arises, as determined by the Department.

Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of Excel Power Query, SAS, ArcGIS
- Familiarity with using actuarial data for analyses
- Knowledge of data management system design and data analysis techniques
- Familiarity with Health Exchanges
- Excellent time management skills
