As we enter our next phase of expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Analyst.
The Supply Chain Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of supply chain functions, ensuring the efficient sourcing, procurement, and distribution of materials and services across multiple locations. This highly analytical position demands a strong understanding of supply chain processes, coupled with data-driven insights to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
Core Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the procurement of materials, including the submission of weekly purchase orders to primary suppliers
- Maintain and update purchase orders, track order statuses, and follow up with suppliers to ensure on time delivery
- Actively monitor and analyze vendor pricing trends, including price increases and adjustments. Compare against existing contracts and internal budget forecasts. Communicate significant pricing discrepancies to the Controller and leadership team.
- Create and adjust mins and maxes for service centers and vehicles as applicable
- Responsible for managing all product codes within our proprietary ERP system as well as inputting new codes, costs, and assigning minimum levels in warehouses based on projected sales
- Collaborate with Service Centers and production teams on inventory management to ensure the availability of materials needed for daily operations
- Coordinate logistics and shipping with external suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of purchase orders
- Monitor and report on inventory levels to avoid low-stock or overstock situations
- Conduct routine data analysis on supply chain metrics and prepare forecasting and historical reports for leadership to support decision-making
- Assist controller in identifying process improvements within the supply chain to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Assist controller and accounts payable team as needed with questions on reconciling any past purchase orders
- Assist controller in maintaining inventory levels to remain within company budgeted values
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies within proprietary software.
- Provide analytical support to the senior leadership team
- Additional assigned responsibilities as determined necessary by the President and Controller
