The AV Events Team provides full lifecycle event support for colleagues who wish to conduct large scale corporate events. Our AV Events team is a group of individuals who can assist with AV technical pre-production, provide equipment recommendations, and live event technical execution. The AV Events Coordinator will serve as the initial point of contact with our stakeholders and work to gather initial details required for assignment and coverage of the events and event spaces we support (both onsite and offsite).
You'll partner closely with our AV Events, AV Builds, and our AV Operations technical support teams, to provide input into the intake, staffing, and coverage support process to execute successfully in the spaces we support, both on and offsite. When you aren't managing event coordination support, you'll be supporting the AV Events Leads in making sure our equipment maintenance, ticketing system, and other resources are up to date and accurate. You'll be empowered to look for ways to optimize the efficiency of the team's workflows, and support models to best benefit our team. This position requires flexible hours as support may take place after normal business hours or on the weekend but is also open to remote work for most of the week.

Responsibilities
- Manage and route AV tickets from Zendesk, serving as the initial point of contact for stakeholders
- Communicate with partner teams and stakeholders based on initial details for technical support and assign tasks to AV Events team members
- Operate coordination tools to route tickets and manage team calendar assignments
- Support AV Events Engineers in all aspects of audio/visual event production, logistics, and vendor management through the full event lifecycle (planning, onsite, and post-event)
- Review AV ticketing support requests to determine initial scope and departmental needs.
- Partner with AV Engineers to secure appropriate event and resource needs
- Maintain communication with the AV Events Lead and cross-functional teams, providing necessary updates during event planning stages
- Assist with the delivery and audit of department metrics related to ticketing
- Effective communication skills
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Experience with Corporate IT Ticketing and Routing software systems and workflows
- Operational support experience for AV teams, including support requests, scheduling, and asset/resource management
- Familiarity with AV setups, vendor partnerships, and integration, focusing on project, time, and resource management
- Background and skills in audio/video production, preferably in a corporate, live event, or broadcasting environment
- Experience with GSuite for Business, particularly Google Docs, Sheets, Sites, and Drive
- Familiarity with live streaming technologies for event support, such as Google Meet, Zoom, and other online distribution methods
