SUMMARY
This position is responsible fo r managing all aspects of the Community from operations and financial activities to managing important relationships with residents, volunteers, vendors, support staff, etc. Additionally, this position will manage service contracts, oversee tenant improvements, property inspections and make applicable recommendations that enhance the resident’s quality of life as well as the upkeep of the property.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The duties listed below are essential functions of the position that must be performed to effectively perform the position in at least an acceptable manner as defined by Front Porch. In the future, other duties may be assigned and may also be considered essential functions of the position.
· Manage the property to ensure its optimal performance.
· Monitor property budgets, financial statements, and performance reports, making strategic recommendations to improve financial performance.
· Identify and resolve operational issues, maintenance needs, and tenant concerns, leasing, client relations, and new client onboarding, promptly and effectively.
· Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with tenants and owners, acting as the primary point of contact for tenant and owner inquiries, issues, and concerns. Address tenant complaints and resolve conflicts in a fair and professional manner, maintaining tenant satisfaction and retention.
· Oversee the leasing process, including advertising available units, screening prospective tenants, negotiating leases, and managing lease renewals.
· Monitor the financial condition of the community identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions through analyzing financial statements, budgets, cash management variances and performance metrics to help estimate present and future financial needs.
· Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), state Housing Finance Agency, state and local government agencies, etc.
· Implement and maintain risk management strategies, and emergency preparedness plans.
· Monitor and manage property licenses, permits and inspections, ensuring timely renewals and adherence to regulatory obligations.
· Perform all other related duties as assigned.
