Dietary Manager is responsible for the planning, preparation, and service of all diets and the maintenance of accepted standards of practice for the preparation and service of these diets.
- Certified Dietary Manager or certification completed within the timeline established by the facility required

Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the orientation and training of new dietary personnel
- Provides ongoing in-service for dietary personnel
- Supervises the use and care of all equipment
- Maintains safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures pertaining to dietary department
- Ordering of food supplies
- Receives and checks incoming supplies
- Plans menus, adhering to budget
- Maintains accurate time records for dietary employees
- Responsible for the part of the disaster plan that applies to the dietary department
- Inventory of food supplies and equipment monthly
- Plans and prepares meals for special meetings and parties
- Other duties as assigned
