Job Title: Food & Beverage Manager

Position Overview:
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage services at CFGC. This includes managing staff, maintaining quality service, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation, managing inventory, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food and beverage industry, with a strong background in leadership, customer service, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Staff Management:
- Supervise, train, and motivate food and beverage staff to ensure excellent service and hospitality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.
- Schedule and manage staff shifts based on operational needs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional development.
Operations & Quality Control:
- Oversee the daily operation of dining rooms, bars, and banquet services.
- Maintain quality control by inspecting food quality, ensuring cleanliness, and monitoring guest satisfaction.
- Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and presented according to the club's standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary.
- Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
Customer Service & Event Coordination:
- Engage with members and guests to ensure satisfaction, addressing any complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with event planners to coordinate catering for private parties, weddings, and club events.
- Ensure that events are executed seamlessly, from menu planning to service delivery.
Budgeting & Financial Oversight:
- Prepare and manage the department’s budget, ensuring expenses align with financial goals.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, labor costs, and food & beverage expenses.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to track performance and make adjustments as needed.
Menu Planning & Development:
- Work with the culinary team to develop and update menus for different dining areas and special events.
- Ensure that the food and beverage offerings meet the preferences and expectations of club members.
- Stay current on food and beverage trends to offer innovative and competitive menu options.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a food and beverage management role, preferably in a hospitality, country club or upscale restaurant.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and cost management in a food service environment.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Expertise in food and beverage trends, service techniques, and event planning.
- Proficient with point-of-sale systems and basic office software (Excel, Word, etc.).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
