Job Title: Peer Coach Administrative Assistant
Description: This position assists the Executive Director and Assistant Director in the daily operations and administration of Coweta FORCE. The position requires a leader who serves to oversee volunteer activity and administration of Coweta FORCE where we provide support for drop in peers and families who are seeking resources, support groups, life skills, education and events. Administrative Assistant reports to the Assistant Director and also supports training and education for the community and assists in creating processes for the team, marketing material and any other material. The person in this position will be responsible for writing grants and tracking data for meeting requirements for any contracts or grants received. This person in this position will also provide peer coaching services as needed.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of recovery from addiction
- A passion for serving individuals and families impacted with addiction
- 40 hours of Recovery Coach training (CARES), within 12 months
- Administrative experience preferred
- Accounting experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to record accurate data, prepare reports, use various software, train life skills and share your story
- Ability to communicate with peers, family members and coworkers in a positive way
- Ability to share HOPE in day-to-day interactions
- Desire, flexibility and ability to assist in leading a team of volunteers
- Ability to create a positive team environment and not show partiality or break confidentiality
- Willingness to learn and grow through continuing education and training
- Training experience preferred
- Ability to assist in maintaining a safe healthy environment and team
- Knowledge of grant writing preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Duties:
- Assess what sort of assistance walk in peers need and provide connection to resources and serve as a coach when necessary
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries
- Assist in organizing and executing special projects or events
- Communicate important updates and information to the team
- Provide one-on-one coaching to peers when needed
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning
- Assist in creating and writing processes to ensure consistency in daily operations and administrative functions
- Assist in planning, creating and promoting training and education for the community we serve
- Assist in maintaining records and creating reports required to meet various grant requirements
- Assist with some accounting in QuickBooks
- Assist in invoicing when required and approve expense reports
- Continue to seek new ways to improve processes and support the team
- Responsible for writing grants and reporting deliverables as required
- Responsible for tracking data for grants and contracts
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Maintain office equipment and liaise with vendors for repairs or services
- Other duties as requested
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay beginning at $35,360.00
- Pay dates are bi-weekly
- Paid Time Off (PTO) accrued from day one and available for use after 90 days
- One paid Self Care Day/mo after 30 day
