Job description
Project Manager – Miscellaneous Metals
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate miscellaneous metal projects with coworkers and customers.
- Proactively identify and solve potential problems in a professional manner.
- Communicate project details, including scope, special instructions, and construction methods, to detailers and estimators.
- Collaborate with estimators, detailers, and field erectors to track job progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Occasionally detail steel stairs, miscellaneous metals, and light structural steel.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of the following:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management for miscellaneous metals and light structural steel.
- Strong communication skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and similar computer programs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Experience reading architectural and structural drawings.
- Basic knowledge of building design and construction codes.
