What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fulfillment Enablement Specialist I position at Cox Communications?
The Fulfillment Enablement Specialist I receive and completes requests from all OSP partners in a task-oriented environment. Within each request the Fulfillment Enablement Specialist I analyze individual construction projects and assists with validating all in-house, contract labor, and material spend in relation to the scope of the project. The Fulfillment Enablement Specialist advances construction projects through the workflow to drive construction tasks to the appropriate teams. The Fulfillment Enablement Specialist I operate in multiple tools and applications to ensure data integrity is properly transferred across all applications.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Ensures the estimate, budget, and actual costs are accurately loaded and accounted for into the financial data base on a per project basis
- Support construction department with assigned tasks to update and maintain all project databases and spreadsheets to ensure accuracy in capturing items across multiple categories (such as the homes & lots passed, mileage, wreckout, and budget detail groups)
- Ensures integrity of the CIP database to ensure capital projects are opened and closed in a timely manner to support accurate budget forecasts and spending reports
- Places assets in service, updates project information and end-date tasks upon completion of projects.
- Release funds for invoicing, as well as closes out engagements, Oracle, PO(s) and workflow when the construction project is complete
- Responds to incoming Live Chat Sessions, resolving requests in a timely manner and using positive, professional, and effective communication to provide excellent customer service
- Supports construction department with assigned tasks by ordering materials, baselining the budget, generating contractor engagements and purchase orders (PO)
- Creates and assigns capital project numbers for financial tracking based on approved construction naming standards
- Provides input on department Method & Procedure documents and shares related knowledge with team
Minimum
- HS diploma, GED or relevant work experience
- Attention to detail
- Proficient computer operating skills Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to seamlessly move between multiple software tools and applications
- Critical thinking skills, self-motivated, independent thinker, positive mindset
- Proficient time-management skills
Preferred
- 1 or more year of experience preferred in related field (i.e. data entry, record keeping and computer operation or customer service)
- Experience in the telecommunications industry
- Advanced Excel skills surrounding pivot tables, advanced formulas, and Macros
