Engineering Administrative Assistant
Purpose
The Engineering Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the Engineering team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the department. The role involves managing administrative tasks, organizing engineering documents and reports, and assisting with various engineering activities while adhering to industry regulations and company standards.
Education and Experience
- A general understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Experience with documentation creation and editing in an engineering or technical context is a plus.
Position Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Coordinate and perform a variety of administrative tasks to assist the Engineering team, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
- Document Management: Assist in organizing, maintaining, and updating customer and internal engineering files, records, and databases to ensure accuracy and easy accessibility.
- Inventory Management: Assist in tracking, managing, and inventory of department-specific items, including tools, equipment, and materials.
- Report Preparation: Assist in preparing detailed reports summarizing data or trends related to manufacturing performance, production, and inventory.
- Production Documentation: Aid in creating and maintaining production-related documents, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), manufacturing batch records, and productivity reports.
- Engineering Support: Drive to various locations as needed to assist with on-site engineering activities and projects.
- Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management or the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools is a plus.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, particularly in an engineering or technical environment, is a plus.
- Interpersonal communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to drive to various locations for on-site support as needed
- Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
