Overview
Cox Automotive is searching for a talented Change Management Consultant in Atlanta, GA! In partnership with business stakeholders, performs discovery and analysis, then creates and executes strategies to create readiness and drive adoption for significant change initiatives. Responsible for delivery of project-level Sponsor Plan, People Leader Plan, Communication Plan, Training Plan, and Resistance Management Plan to enable change adoption. Manages stakeholder expectations and liaises with solution delivery teams to achieve alignment.

This is a 9-month W2 contract assignment with the opportunity for contract extension or to transition to a permanent, full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Shift/Hours
- Monday - Friday; 32 hours per week
- This is a hybrid role in Atlanta, GA; onsite 2 days per week
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Change Management Consultant:
- Leads assigned Change Teams.
- Provides day-to-day guidance to the team, allocating assignments and monitoring individual performance.
- Engages with supported organizations / stakeholders to ascertain their readiness for change and define specific enablement steps and tactics.
- Works with team members to develop defined deliverables and execute defined steps, e.g. training, focused communication packages, Q&A sessions, etc.
- Monitors team activity and impact, identifying and addressing noted gaps and performance issues.
- Serves as a project team member and senior-level contributor on larger scale change initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications of the Change Management Consultant:
- A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in change management, organizational development, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is a must
- Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is a plus.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- High emotional intelligence and empathy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
