Job Summary
The Clinic Administrator is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of a multi-specialty clinic on a single site and will be responsible for leading and managing the missions, goals, budgets and performance standards for the clinic and communicating to all staff. The Clinic Administrator will need to be extremely organized and be able to lead, delegate, and supervise many employees at one time. The Clinic Administrator must work effectively with physicians, staff, patients, public, and external agencies and will need skills in gathering and interpreting data. The Clinic Administrator must have ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem solving expertise.
Job Requirements
- Education
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare-related field
- Experience
- Required: Five years of experience in a healthcare, clinical, or business setting
- Preferred: Management experience in a healthcare setting
- Skills
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in providing clinical and business functions for hospital-based provider groups within CoxHealth
