The Pre-Cert Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of team members and the day to day operational activities of the department. This includes and is not limited to hiring, training, performance evaluation and development, skill assessment, discipline, scheduling, and team building; responsible for organizing, directing, coordination and delegating tasks and acts as a knowledgeable resource to the team; resolve operation issues by escalating and engaging with Pre-Cert Manager and Assistant Director of PAS Financial Clearance to ensure internal and external customer service is provided throughout the team.

Required: High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Bachelors in a related field

Required:1-2 Years related experience

Skills

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding and how it affects reimbursement from third party payers

Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams

Determines level of knowledge and evaluates performance of personnel, demonstrates leadership, policy, procedure and organizational structure knowledge
