Shipping Clerk

Job Description
Shipping clerk is responsible for packaging all material / tooling as per customer requirements. Creating and verifying all appropriate documentation that is associated with the shipment. Entering all pertinent information in the portal or contacting the carrier to tender a shipment for pickup at dock. Delivering and dropping off to our local suppliers is required. Achieve positive results while adhering to CPI values and processes.

Essential Functions:

· Verify pick/pack list information to details/parts.

· Verify customer address coincides with shipping documentation on box/crate.

· Ensure parts are packaged in accordance with Customer and company requirements.

· Must be able to load and unload carriers for both incoming and outgoing shipments.

· Pick up and drop off details/parts to our local suppliers.

· Create packing slips within ERP system.

· Enter tracking information into ERP system to assist with record keeping.

· Provide dimensions and weight to appropriate departments for WAWF when required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Computer experience and forklift knowledge is a plus
• NOTE: Lifting, standing, sitting, bending, grasping, holding, reaching, pushing and pulling are generally required to perform the functions of this position

Additional/Specific Requirements:

• Knowledge contracts flow down is a plus
• Microsoft excel is required
• Forklift experience is required
• Requires valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,360.00 - $59,740.00 per year
