YOUR DAY TO DAY:
We have an immediate opening for a skilled and proactive PC/LAN Specialist 3 to join our IT team and provide first-level support to our end-users. Qualified individual will be responsible for ensuring the stability of the company’s computer systems by maintaining first level support to end users. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing hardware, software, and communication links. This person will analyze and resolve end-user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training where required. installs on and troubleshooting and repairs of computer systems, hardware, and peripherals. Resolution of internal user problems and ensures correct operation of personal computers. Maintains parts inventory and logs all service/repair activity. May perform system setups for new hires. May require an associate degree or its equivalent.

- MUST BE A US CITIZEN **
- Provides first level engagement and support to end users.
- Triage all issues reported at assigned locations
- Provides hardware and software technical support to office and remote users.
- Configuration and upgrading of desktop and laptop hardware and software.
- Supports security stack and policy enforcement
- Remotely or physically assists in computer-related issues
- Collaborates with teammates to resolve customer issues
- Maintain relationships with customers and teammates
- Maintains computer parts inventory.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in computer hardware and software support.
- A & Network Certifications
- Must have thorough knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
- Must have in-depth technical knowledge of hardware and software.
- Experience supporting Windows 10 & 11, Linux environment, VMWare hosts and VMs.
- Experienced using a ticketing system to track issues.
- Excellent communication, organization, coordination, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Able to work without close supervision
- Ability to travel to Catawba, Hickory, and Maiden, NC on a weekly basis is required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Knowledge of PLM applications, like JD Edwards and Product Center
- CCNA or ACNT Certification and knowledge of Cisco and Aruba networking
- Experience troubleshooting LAN and WLAN.
- Experience supporting and maintaining client/server applications
