YOUR DAY TO DAY :
Communications & Power Industries (CPI) is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing cost accounting, program accounting, and manufacturing excellence within our dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position involves partnering with plant management and the leadership team to implement financial strategies, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the financial growth and operational efficiency of the plant's operations.
Key Responsibilities include :
Cost Accounting Management
- Manage and maintain costing activities related to standard costing, inventory control, Bill of Materials (BOM) review, Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory review, and workflow processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Establish costs for business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, and more.
- Prepare product costing, divisional analysis, and allocation analysis of shared operational costs.
- Analyze and evaluate program financial results, Estimates at Completion (EAC), and determine appropriate profitability levels.
- Update and analyze standard costs and associated variances.
Month-End Close Activities
Financial Analysis and Reporting
Inventory and Cost Management
Continuous Improvement
Team Leadership and Collaboration
Compliance and Audit Support
