PRACTICE TECHNOLOGY INTERN – BUFFALO, NY
Working from our Buffalo, NY location, this role collaborates with our Practice Technology team to fulfill design technology support needs. This role works closely with our BIM Coordinators to ensure our BIM processes are well-documented and scalable.

THE BIM INTERN AT CPL
As a member of our enterprise-level technology team, the BIM Intern role supports our Practice Technology team by supporting documentation, training, support and coordination activities. This role reports to the Sr. BIM Manager but works closely day-to-day with a local BIM Coordinator. The BIM Intern will learn many industry-specific tools like Autodesk Construction Cloud and Revit to provide routine task support and troubleshooting for architects and engineers. These activities include process development, cloud workflow support, and supporting the Practice Technology
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- You are actively pursuing a BS (or MS) in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Science or related field.
- You have succinct communication and presentation skills
- You have a desire to learn new technology and solve problems.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You are a proactive, self-starter that can organize smaller tasks to accomplish larger objectives.
- Your process-focused, and detail-oriented mindset helps you define and assess problems.
- Previous experience with typical industry tools like Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or AutoCAD a major plus but not required.
- Experience working with program language (Python, C#, etc) beneficial but not required.
