What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at CPM Builders?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with data entry and double entry bookkeeping with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry and Transaction Recording:
Accurately record financial transactions such as sales, purchases, payments, and expenses into the accounting system.
Accounts Payable/Receivable Management:
Process invoices, bills, and aging reports. Thorough verification of vendor invoices and payments.
Bank & Credit Card Reconciliation:
Daily reconciliation of bank and credit card transactions. Monthly reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy of recorded transactions.
General Ledger Maintenance:
Maintenance of the general ledger by posting transactions and ensuring proper account coding.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and/or Enterprise.
- Experience working in the Construction Industry.
