Whats The Role
The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the office with a special focus on human resources and supporting bookkeeping tasks. This role involves overseeing office administration, managing HR functions, and maintaining accurate financial records.
How You Will Make An Impact
Office Management:
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
- Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services.
- Supports payroll and maintain employee records.
- Executes recruitment, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Act as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries and supports employee relations and ensure compliance with labor laws and health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Supports vacation accruals and balances in system.
- Supports HRIS being up to date and use to improve processes
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, with 3 years of experience, or Associate degree with 5 years of experience including human resource administration.
- Experience as office manager or human resources in the construction industry a plus.
- Strong knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular).
- Fully Bilingual (English/ Spanish)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
