Position Summary:
The primary responsibilities of this position are as follows:
- Rough & finish mill twin screw extruder conveying segments.
- Finish mill twin screw extruder kneading segments.
Essential Functions:
- Setup and run multiple Mazak & Doosan Vertical Mills, 4-axis (VCN-535c)
- Examine materials to ensure conformance to established standards
- Perform minor equipment maintenance
- Comply with standards and procedures
- Complete required paperwork as necessary
- Perform other job responsibilities as required
- Organizing and staging work to accommodate running multiple machines
Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
- High school education and 1-2 years of related experience preferred, but not mandatory.
- Understanding of precision manufacturing tools and their proper use.
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of GD&T symbols and tolerancing along with basic blueprint reading
- Ability and willingness to follow directions and work independently
- Good verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude, ability to work in a highly motivated, team driven environment
