Aerospace Process Optimization Engineer
">We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Process Optimization Engineer to join our team at CPP-Euclid, an investment casting foundry specializing in complex aerospace & gas turbine components. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing robust manufacturing/metallurgical processes to support our growth in the aerospace and industrial investment casting markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work cooperatively in a team environment to develop and enhance metallurgical processes.
- Develop overall metallurgical casting process from gate design to establishing casting parameters.
- Assess physical structure and behavior of metals and metal distribution systems within DS/SX systems.
- Investigate metallurgical failure using root cause analysis.
- Publish reports on research and completed tests using data-based decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years applicable experience: Metallurgist or Process Engineer in the DS/SX/EQ investment casting industry.
- Proven problem-solving skills and excellent organizational, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
