What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Specialist (Repair) position at Process Technology?
Responsibilities
This is a full-time, non-exempt position that reports to Quality Assurance. This hands-on position will require a broad range of skills and knowledge to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):

- Projects supporting company goals and initiatives, department goals, improvements, corrective actions, and personal development.
- Assisting with or conducting investigations for Root Cause Analysis, Containment, 8D reports, Customer Complaints, etc.
- Conducting failure analysis upon internal or field failure, with potential to travel to customer sites in support of Technical Care / Service.
- Draft, retain, develop and maintain company documents.
- Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Auditing (assist with or conduct floor audits, internal process audits, assisting with ISO audits)
- Additional activities such as administrative tasks, inspection activities, generating reports or documents, and any other tasks as assigned by Quality leadership.
- Maintain and facilitate calibration programming Other duties as assigned

- Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel)
- CSI UKG (Kronos)
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience as Quality Technician or Inspector, or equivalent testing role.
- Ability to read blue-prints, familiar with GD&T, etc.
- Dexterity and mobility to disassemble and reassemble products for evaluation, safely and efficiently.
- Ability to use plate inspection tooling (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
- Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts (process capability calculation, probability, etc.)
- High-level visual and tactile skills.
- Advanced organizational skills.
- Experience drafting reports and collating data.
- Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
