Job Description
In this role, you will work closely with our customers' engineering, quality, and purchasing representatives, as well as our suppliers and internal departments. Your primary goal will be to ensure compliance with customer quality expectations.
You will achieve this by:
- Building relationships: Foster a culture of competence, cooperation, and trust with our customers through supplier product, systems, and qualification surveys.
- Leading continuous improvement: Participate in our ongoing efforts to improve processes, promote quality excellence, and encourage teamwork among our teams and customers.
- Supporting the shop floor strategy: Understand and support the Theory of Constraints (TOC) strategy, which aims to optimize production efficiency.
- Staying up-to-date with technology: Stay current with innovative analytical systems and technologies that can help reduce or eliminate waste and redundant operations.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from a four-year college or university.
- Experience: 3-5 years of work experience in an aerospace environment, foundry, or related field.
- Certifications: Comprehensive knowledge of quality and quality systems, such as AS9100, NADCAP, ISO17025, and A2LA.
