This is an exciting opportunity to join Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) as a Quality Engineer in our Chittenango location. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide technical support and direction to ensure compliance with customer quality expectations.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of quality systems, such as AS9100, NADCAP, ISO17025, and A2LA, as well as experience in the aerospace industry and investment casting processes.

Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate with customers and internal departments to ensure compliance with quality expectations.
- Build relationships with customers through Supplier Product, Systems and Qualification Surveys.
- Promote quality excellence and teamwork among employees and customers.
- Support shop floor Theory of Constraints (TOC) strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with technological advances and innovative analytical systems.
- Forecast potential problem situations and suggest solutions through Risk Assessment.
- Review and evaluate customer purchase orders, drawings, specifications, and related criteria.
- Develop and implement Corrective Action/Preventative Action plans.
- Serve as primary QA contact for customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of work experience in an Aerospace environment, foundry or related field.
- Familiarity with investment casting industry and related processes desirable.
- Strong communication skills, good PC skills, program management skills.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing a plus.

$60k depending upon experience
