Complete Professional Services (CPS) is searching for an Enterprise Directory Services and Authentication (EDS&A) Systems Engineer, you will provide services in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), Assistant Chief of Staff (ACofS), G-3/5. You will support the G-5 with enterprise implementation and standardization of EDS&A on the Army’s portion of the Department of Defense information Network (DODIN). You will support the development of implementation and migration plans by providing technical solutions and recommendations on best business practices. You will provide Microsoft Subject Matter Expert (SME) support in the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (CONUS) in Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), Non-secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), and Deployed Forces (DF) environments. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting CPS's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.
Highlights of Responsibilities:
- Provide security engineering and analysis supporting the implementation of EDS&A projects across the Army’s portion of the DODIN.
- Assist the Government in conducting and documenting security risk threat assessments, prepare recommendations for implementing countermeasures.
- Provide security-related technical expertise for the Government evaluations of the hardware and software components. Also, provide processes and procedures, input determination and analysis to the security policies, risk analysis, accreditation package analysis, and engineering change proposal analysis.
- Support implementation and standardization of Directory Service, Identity Management, and AD structures on the NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and DoDIN in the Army Enterprise Infrastructure (AEI) in support of the Enterprise initiative.
- Support the Enterprise AD architecture design and migration fielding. Perform NIPRNET/SIPRNET/DoDIN AD (Windows 2003/2008 R2 and later versions) migration support to an AD and EDS environment.
- Support development of procedures, such as an implementation guide, to ensure technical solutions and schedules are identified within established suspense.
- Verify and validate the Army Directory Services architecture in accordance with industry best business practices. Modify network design infrastructure to identify PPS for global Enterprise constructs.
- Develop standardized Group Policy Objective (GPO), and IPSec model, design and management in support of the multiple AD/EDS environments across the Army, and develop programmatic scripts as necessary.
- Provide advisory technical support in defining, documenting, and sustaining system internal (Army) and external (DISA) Common Interfaces (CIs) for consistent and persistent delivery of Exchange services as delivered from the DISA Defense Enterprise Computing Center (DECC) environment.
- Conduct AD and enterprise testing for related operational RFC submitted to NETCOM. Provide and document design integration of proposed technologies for the Army Enterprise design construct.
- Provide EDS/RDS system sustainment engineering and analysis support for the legacy EDS environment.
Qualifications
- Current Active Secret Security Clearance and or the ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s Degree with more than 4 years practical experience; or more than 12 years of practical experience may be substituted for education.
- IT Level II requiring a NACLA Background Investigation in accordance with AR 25-2.
- IAT II certified as specified in DOD 8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002 (Security CE, GSEC, SSCP or GSLC IA Certifications).
- Ability to obtain the Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) or equivalent Computing Environment Certification within 6 months of start date.
Additional Information
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Expert knowledge of enterprise Directory Services concepts, AD, Messaging, and Enterprise Directory Services (EDS) procedures.
- Expertise in all aspects of Microsoft Windows services to include implementing directory services, messaging, and application servers into the enterprise environment.
- Current/active Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) or equivalent Computing Environment Certification.
