As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Phoenix, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; and procuring drugs. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This per diem, nonexempt position doesn't have any regularly scheduled hours and provides time off coverage for staff, working a minimum of 4 hours each month.
Starting Pay: $20-$23/hour (based on related work experience).
About the Facility: Haven Behavioral Hospital of Phoenix is a licensed, acute care behavioral hospital that provides a safe, nurturing environment for the treatment of complex mental health and substance abuse issues offering innovative, customized inpatient treatment programs based on individual needs and preferences. Compassionate, expert treatment is designed to help individuals move past illness or addiction and take back control of their lives. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm. After hours and weekend coverage is provided by remote telepharmacy services. The pharmacy utilizes Pyxis and HCS systems.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Arizona Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- Previous/recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills, verbal and written
Hospital Requirements (may be required):
- High School Diploma or GED
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine-Full
