St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center – South

As a full time, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician at St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center - South, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This position will be scheduled for 40 hours, 8 AM-4:30 PM
Salary Range: $19-$21 per hour based on experience
About the Facility: The St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center (FTC) is a state funded 180 bed forensic inpatient treatment psychiatric facility operated by the Missouri Department of Mental Health’s (DMH) Division of Behavioral Health (DBH). The facility provides an array of mental health services to a population primarily comprised of adults 18 years and older who have been committed to the Department of Mental Health by a criminal court under the mental health provisions of Chapter 552 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of recent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a hospital or retail pharmacy is preferred
- Missouri Pharmacy Technician in good standing
- National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements (may be required):
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
