As a per diem, non-exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy, and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
Schedule : This position can work up to 19 hours per week, however, it is anticipated to work Wednesdays as well as to cover PTO and sick time of existing pharmacy staff. This position will work every other Monday in addition to every other Friday.
About the Facility : Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital is a joint venture between Universal Health Services and Lancaster General Health / Penn Medicine. The 128-bed facility will feature Lancaster County's only dedicated inpatient unit for adolescents, as well as a dedicated women's trauma unit, for sexual assault victims or women with a history of traumatic injuries because of domestic violence. Slated to open in mid-2018, the hospital will also offer day-treatment services for adolescent, dual-diagnosis, older adult, and substance-abuse patients. Pharmacy automation includes EPIC and Omnicell. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy : The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 7 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm, Saturday / Sunday from 8 : 00 am-12 : 00 pm
Required Qualifications :
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current PA license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience in an acute care hospital or other inpatient care setting
- Proficient computer skills using pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Effective communication skills; verbal and written
