If this is the kind of team you want to be a part of, then we want to hear from you! We are looking for a leader to manage our High Spirits retail store in Poulsbo. We are a family-owned well established brand that strives to create great relationships with our customers. This relationship with our customers keeps them returning for years to come.
Tasks include but are not limited to :
Training staff on the proper job duties and store expectations
Ensuring that stocking is done accurately and efficiently
Organizing product and workspace to maximize sales
Instructing staff on customer service to create a warm and welcoming environment
Making sure all products for sale have accurate pricing and / or shelf tags
Ensuring that all staff members are adhering to all safety and health code standards
Mitigating any customer issues or concerns
Communicating with administrative team regularly
Facilitating visits by vendors, as well as others looking for managers or owners
Communicating effectively with the shipping, receiving, and ordering department staff
Identifying stock outages and customer requests and communicating to the purchasing team
Hiring and training of new staff
Maintaining schedule, time off & vacation requests for staff members under your management
Looking for ways to improve processes and implementation of practices that will enhance the business and the consumer experience
Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the various sections of the store in accordance with all branding and marketing standards and guidelines, as well as company standards set forth by the Director of Purchasing and the CEO.
Requirements
Must have a current WA state Food Worker's permit, or be able to get one
Must have a current Class 12 MAST permit, or be able to get one
Must be 21 or older
2 years experience as a manager preferred
Knowledge of liquor products, brands, and trends
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficient in inventory management and retail point-of-sale systems.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
