Job Summary :

The Crack Shack is seeking an energetic and motivated Front of House Shift Supervisor to join our team! As a FOH Shift Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations, leading the team during your shifts, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for supervising FOH staff, ensuring adherence to company standards, and supporting management in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities : Leadership & Team Management :

Oversee and manage FOH team members during shifts, ensuring staff are performing their roles effectively.
Act as the point of contact for FOH staff to address questions, provide guidance, and resolve issues.
Assist with training and onboarding of new FOH team members.
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture by leading by example and motivating staff.

Guest Experience :

Ensure all guests receive exceptional service in a welcoming and friendly environment.

Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating to management as necessary.

Monitor dining areas for cleanliness, organization, and adherence to service standards.

Operations Management :

Monitor shift schedules and adjust team deployment as needed to maintain optimal efficiency.

Ensure accurate cash handling, POS operations, and end-of-shift reporting.

Assist with inventory tracking, restocking, and ensuring FOH supplies are adequately maintained.

Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

Communication & Reporting :

Communicate effectively with BOH staff to ensure seamless coordination of service.

Provide end-of-shift reports to management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with the management team to improve operational processes and guest experiences.

Qualifications :

1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.

Knowledge of POS systems (Toast preferred) and basic cash handling.

Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
