Shipping/Inventory Floating Clerk

Summary - Job Responsibilities – Activities:

Ships product to customers by company or vendor specified carriers.

• Package/palletize product that has been pulled for shipment
• Receive and put away incoming materials
• Use UPS and Fed Ex computer system to process shipments
• Coordinate pickups for other carriers
• Obtain or complete special paperwork for shipment
• Submits completed shipment info to AR
• Inventory management
• Flexible duties potentially spread between two sites
• Other duties as assigned

Education - Experience:

• High school diploma or Equivalent

Compensation:

• Minimum rate $20/hr.
• Pay commensurate with experience.

Required Skills, Competencies, Authorities and Training Needs:

• Organization, Time Management, Independence, General computer skills/data entry

Physical Requirements. Any other training requirements / comments

• Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity
• Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Sustained visual and mental applications and demands
• Ability to walk or drive between two buildings on a regular basis in various weather conditions (approximately 250 feet apart)
• Occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying
• Quantitative/mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, standard measurements)
• Use of internal software system, UPS and Fed Ex Systems.
