Brewery / Winery Assistant Brewer

Job Description

Crafted Artisan Meadery is seeking an Assistant Brewer to join our team. This full-time position will report directly to the head meadmaker. In this role you will be involved in all aspect of operations. The ideal candidate will have relevant previous experience in a brewery, meadery, cidery, and/or winery setting.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside head meadmaker in all aspects of producing Crafted's award-winning mead
• Cleaning and sanitizing meadery equipment (tanks, pumps, hoses, bottling machine, canning line)
• Filtering setup
• Ingredient processing
• Packaging - setup and operation of bottling machine, canning line, labeling machine and canning line
• Other responsibilities as needed
  
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-3 years experience in brewery, cidery, and/or winery production and cellar work
• Able to follow instructions and quickly learn new skills while working independently
• An eye for quality assurance
• Familiarity with sanitary conditions and ensuring they are met
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
