Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate custom millwork, cabinetry, and architectural wood components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and shop drawings.
- Operate woodworking machinery, including table saws, routers, and CNC equipment.
- Assemble and finish millwork products, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
- Work with a variety of wood species, laminates, and veneers.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure precision and accuracy in fabrication.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and installers to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in millwork fabrication or cabinetry making.
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and joinery methods.
- Proficiency in using woodworking hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience working with solid wood, plywood, MDF, laminates, and veneers.
- Knowledge of finishing techniques, including staining and painting, is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
