Pediatric Home Service is a pediatric home health agency that has provided high quality DME and nursing services to children that are medically fragile since 1990. Our services allow our clients to remain and thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. The majority of the clients we serve are age’s birth through 21 years old and have a variety of technologies that might include a trach, ventilator or g-tube.

- Position: Admissions Representative
- Location: Houston, TX
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
- Schedule: Hybrid, after in office training.
We are looking for a full-time Admissions Representative to join our customer-focused, supportive team. - Manage the intake process for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) using CPR and INSIGHT databases.
- Coordinate the New Product Request process and activities of the Customer Service (CS) helpdesk.
- Act as the Coordinator of the Day (COD) to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Obtain new patient referrals, supporting documentation, and insurance authorization as required.
- Verify insurance benefits and complete accurate data entry for products and services provided.
- Process ongoing patient supply orders and prescriber orders, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Coordinate intake processes for specialized organizations and support evening and Saturday on-call staff.
- Address and resolve billing or service-related complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
- Organize and process paperwork, including prescriber orders, shipping orders, and delivery documents.
- Prepare patient paperwork for billing and coordinate service for evening deliveries.
- High school diploma or 1–6 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Durable medical equipment (DME) intake/ admissions experience preferred
- Exceptionally organized, multi-tasking, problem solving and communication and strong keyboard skills. A high level of initiative combined with a customer service mentality is also required.
- Experience in Brightree EHR a plus!
